Cyma Cymaflex (Swiss) 18K 1955

A 1955 Vintage Swiss made Cyma Cymaflex gentlemen’s wrist watch in near mint condition.

This beautiful watch is all original including the hand wound R484.2 movement, signed Cyma, Tavannes, Switzerland together with the number 366880.  The movement is running strongly and accurately.

The watch measures 34.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs.  The case is 18 carat gold and the Continental marks for 18k / 750 are inside the case back, together with the mark 2M within a hexagon and the number 1782-238.  There is also a small hallmark on the side of one of the lugs but it is difficult to decipher.  The case is in excellent condition with only very minor marks visible under high magnification and some light surface scratches to the back.  The case back has a brushed finish.  The winding crown has the Cyma logo.

The lens is in nice new condition.

The dial is in excellent condition with the applied Cyma logo and is signed Cyma, Cymaflex, Swiss Made.  Under high magnification there are some light small marks if you look closely but overall the condition is excellent.  The original dauphine shaped hands and subsidiary seconds dial are also excellent.

A new high quality black leather strap has been fitted.

Overall this is a wonderful Vintage 18K Gold Swiss watch from a highly regarded Swiss manufacturer. It is in excellent condition and offered at a fantastically low price. This really is an opportunity not to be missed.
