This is a very handsome mens Rolex solid 18k gold Oyster Perpetual Day Date President watch. It has a rare original silver dial that has never been refinished or customised and looks very rich & elegant. This really is a totally 100% unmolested very well cared for and loved, genuine authentic 1960 Rolex Day Date.

The original solid 18k yellow gold case with fluted bezel is in mint condition and looks faultless. The diameter is a full 36mm, not counting the original Rolex signed Oyster crown. The 18k rare original gold pointed period hands are in pristine condition. The crystal is new.
The original Rolex self winding automatic movement has been thoroughly serviced recently by a Rolex technician. It has therefore been thoroughly checked and it is ready for another 60 years of faultless use. It winds perfectly, automatically and manually exactly as it should and is keeping accurate time.
It is therefore a truly exceptional piece. A Rolex Day Date President watch like this would sell new for more than £16,000 today.
