Except for the generic strap, this beautiful watch is ENTIRELY ORIGINAL, including dial and crown. Features the legendary K800/C 17- jewel wind-up movement.
ORIGINAL never restored gold champagne dial with cross-hair is near flawless. Applied gold JL logo. Crisp, vivid Jaeger-LeCoultre signature. Features elegant, applied 18K stick markers and jet-black hands, which are perfect. Signed “SWISS MADE”. Crystal is extra clean.
Gorgeous solid Rose Gold 18K case is also in super condition. Original factory finish is still visible on the snap-on back. Case back has special rounded hood that fits precisely over the stem.
Inside the case back is signed Le Coultre Cie “BREVET + 76929 OTHER PATENT PENDING.
It is also hallmarked 18K 0.750 and has the Swiss lady’s profile mark. The back weighs 4.7 grams. There are no dings or scratches. ORIGINAL crown is signed with the JL logo.
This beautiful watch is powered by a by a kitchen-clean Le Coultre K800/C 17-jewel manual wind movement, which is simply gorgeous. Best of all, it is a very lively runner, keeping chronometer-like time and winds and sets perfectly. Serial no. 1459238, equates to 1963.
The watch is large for a specimen of this era, measuring 34 mm across (not including crown) and 42 mm lug tip to lug tip. It comes on a generic leather strap.
