Please Tell Us About Your Watch

Our watch purchasing process is very quick and easy. Simply provide us with details of your watch and four clear photographs. We will then confirm our interest and make you a ball-park offer subject to inspection. We then assist you with getting your watch to us safely and securely for inspection and a formal offer. If accepted we will pay you by bank transfer immediately. If you prefer not to accept, we will return your watch to you at our expense, fully insured and tracked via next-day delivery.

Please note the following before providing us with details of your watch…

We only buy vintage watches. We specialise in watches from 1930 – 1980. Although we buy earlier and later, up until around the year 2,000.

We only buy mechanical watches, which are either hand-wound or automatic. We do not buy quartz watches, which are powered by batteries.

We mostly buy watches made of solid gold. We never buy gold-plated or gold-filled watches. We often buy steel watches for our sister website www.vintagewatchcentre.com

We only buy watches made by the brands we sell: Rolex, Omega, Cartier, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, IWC, Longines, Universal Geneve, Heuere and Zenith

If you are overseas, you must send your watch to us duty-paid or deliver it personally the next time you are in the UK. Watches sent to us from overseas will attract approximately 20% duty. This will be your responsibility to pay unless agreed otherwise by email in advance..

If you wish to proceed and have us provide you a ballpark trade valuation with a view to selling us your watch please could you take the time to complete the following information as fully as possible. The more information you can provide us, the better we can help you…

Please could you also provide us three or four clear close-up photographs of each aspect of the watch including the dial, case back and sides. These are best taken in good natural light by a window. The better the images the more accurately we will be able to value your watch. A good clear close-up of the dial is essential for us to provide you a proper estimate.
